  1. what is the difference between command and control?
  2. why would you want or need both in the design of a system (either living or engineered)?
  3. Baran says that “the idea of packet-switching itself is very much cold war.”1) Wat do you think he means by that?
  4. Why do you think that a system assembled fast/cheap/modular components would be more reliable than one assembled from custom parts? [give five reasons]. Subquestion: what did Google learn from this observation?
