Official Section Cosmos: a heterodox selection
more than 30 films from 16 countries that will compete in this edition.

As you already know, this is the official section that we are launching on our 20th anniversary. The idea? To create a space in which a selection of heterodox films, ranging from narrative cinema to abstract pieces, with special emphasis on film essays, can dialogue with each other.

In this section we will find regular names of the festival such as Deborah Stratman, Bertrand Mandico, Billy Roisz or Jean-Gabriel Périot, as well as outstanding filmmakers that the festival welcomes for the first time, such as Maryam Tafakory, Ion de Sosa or Nicolás Pereda or other new filmmakers like Sandra Romero or Christian Avilés.
