Excited that Nearest Neighbor (2023) by Rebecca Baron and Douglas Goodwin will be featured in Unfolding Visions, a special screening program at REDCAT showcasing recent film, video, and moving image work by faculty from CalArts' School of Film/Video. This is a Los Angeles premiere.
About Nearest Neighbor
Nearest Neighbor is a collaboration between Los Angeles-based media artist Rebecca Baron and technologist Douglas Goodwin. The film continues Baron's exploration of the construction of history through her signature lyrical essay film style, while incorporating Goodwin's investigation into how language and technology mediate our perception of reality.
