Teaching AI in Film School – Featured in Filmmaker Magazine

Summer, 2025.

I’m featured in a new Filmmaker Magazine article by Caleb Hammond on how film schools are adapting to generative AI.

The piece gathers voices from across institutions—NYU, Columbia, USC, LMU, and CalArts—to explore how educators are approaching this rapidly evolving field. In my interview, I emphasized that teaching AI isn’t just about the tools—it’s about helping students confront the aesthetic, ethical, and political implications of algorithmic authorship.
