Sometimes your eyes can tell you things that the ears miss. I can turn the sound into a video trace to see how the circuit changes the sound waves.

I expected a square-sh wave coming out of the overdrive circuit. It looks square on the bottom of the waveform (expected) but not the top (hmmm).

Interesting, or am I using the scope wrong?
