Spring artist residency at Caltech

Rebecca Baron and Doug Goodwin Selected for Caltech Visual Culture Residency

Rebecca Baron and Doug Goodwin have been selected for a short-term artist residency as part of the Caltech–Huntington Program in Visual Culture this spring. The Caltech Huntington Art + Research Residency Program supports artists whose work engages with science, technology, and the humanities, fostering collaborations among artists, researchers, and students.

During their residency, Baron and Goodwin will continue their ongoing exploration of how contemporary imaging technologies intersect with historical and scientific ways of seeing. The residency, administered by Caltech’s Division of the Humanities and Social Sciences in partnership with The Huntington Library, Art Museum, and Botanical Gardens, offers time, space, and research support for interdisciplinary experimentation.

Their residency will take place between March and June 2026 and will include a public presentation at Caltech later in the spring.
