Sketch interpolation test

Neither drawing contains the movement that joins them. The interpolator has to invent a passage, and the invented passage acquires qualities that belong to neither endpoint. What appears is not in either image but in the demand to get from one to the other. The specimen does not fit Perpetual Motion: its problem is not consequence but interpolation. For now it is Feral in the taxonomy's second sense — an example whose behavior has escaped the label prepared for it.
